The Cognitive Science Laboratory at the University of Manitoba
Welcome to the cognitive science laboratory at the University of Manitoba. The lab is located in the Department of Psychology and is directed by Dr. Randall K. Jamieson.
We conduct computational and experimental examinations of how people and other animals learn, remember, think, and know. We are particularly interested in the problems of memory, associative learning, and knowledge representation. Our theoretical goal is to develop an account of learning and memory. Our applied goal is to leverage our experimental and theoretical discoveries to develop applied cognitive technologies.
We are grateful for our research support from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and the University of Manitoba.
